Q: Why can topics only be commented upon with video and not written comments?
A: Street Rebuttal is a forum for real discussions about real issues. Comments that require the speaker to be identified set a different tone for discussion than is created by anonymous comments.
Q: Why are anonymous video comments not acceptable?
A: Street Rebuttal features individuals who are willing to stand behind their opinions and ideas. We understand it may not be for everyone and so allow users to post comments on or rate the featured videos under their username.
Q: What are the guidelines for posting videos?
A: The individual(s) speaking in the video must be clearly visible and identifiable - videos of a still photograph to identify the speaker are not acceptable. Multiple video postings to a single topic are not permitted. The length of the video must be fifteen minutes or less.
Q: Does Street Rebuttal edit or censor videos?
A: Street Rebuttal invites all points of view, and deletes videos only if they are anonymous, abusive, use excessive foul language, are off-topic, include ad-hominem attacks, contain racist, sexist, or other slurs, are solicitations or advertising for personal blogs and websites, are thread spamming, are comments posted with the explicit intention of provoking other commentators or the staff at Street Rebuttal, contain content that may infringe the copyright or intellectual property rights of others or other applicable laws or regulations, or otherwise breach the Terms of Use of Street Rebuttal.
